Name Change

A couple of weeks ago an idea popped into my head – to change the name of the blog. Oftentimes however, my ideas stay too long in my head before they are actually processed and executed.  So after a few weeks of putting it off (I mean, thinking J) I talked it over with Tim, and we’re doing it! We’re changing our blog name to “3 Sets of Footprints.”  Let me start by clarifying that NO, we are not pregnant J baby Lee is not the third set of footprints, God is! 

Lately, it has been my heart’s desire to use this blog to share God’s continual work in our lives.  The truth is that as Tim and I are on this journey of following and serving God, He is the one who is leading and walking with us every step of the way.  When we look back at our journey, we delight in seeing 3 sets of footprints along the path; He has been faithful in guiding, providing, teaching, protecting, disciplining, and loving us.  I take very much comfort in knowing that we are not walking alone, He truly is with us.  This is why the name “3 Sets of Footprints” makes sense and reflects our marriage.  In the words of David, the Lord has been our shepherd, He has made us lie down in green pastures, He has led us beside still waters, He has restored our souls, He has guided us in paths of righteousness for His name sake, His rod and His staff have comforted us, and He has always been with us.  As I write these words, I find it funny that Psalm 23 was the first passage Tim and I decided to memorize together as a couple.  
I want to be more intentional in giving God a bigger role in this blog, and in sharing the work He is doing in us and through us.
